IT'S ALIVE!!!

CHAPTER 5 IS FINALLY UP!!! WOOHOO!!!

I know it's been over a week, and I apologize. I just couldn't get with it this week. I promise that Chapter 6 will be up in much less time.

Anyways, I'm giving up on my you link to me, I link to you offer. From now on I'm just linking to blogs I like. All presently-linked-to blogs will remain linked-to, however, so fear not. I'm also going to add some more links to websites.

10 DAYS UNTIL THE Wii IS RELEASED!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

This is going to be awesome! I've already got my first three games picked out: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Red Steel, and Need For Speed: Carbon. This new system is gonna ROCK!!! CAN'T WAIT!

But enough about that.

I for one am so glad that the election is over. Not because the candidates I voted for won-I'm a Republican, and as we all know, the Democrats swept the election-but because it's over! I swear, if one more person called me telling me how evil Ed Rendell or Lynn Swann was, or if I saw one more TV ad telling me how the Republicans are evil and going to turn the country into an Orwellian dictatorship, I was gonna put my head through a wall!!! SHEESH!

I can't help but agree with an article I saw in the Inquirer over the weekend: if companies pushed products the way parties push candidates, we'd be seeing Pespi ads that inisist Coke makes you sterile and Coke ads screaming that Pepsi is the preferred drink of Osama bin Laden, and at the end of each commercial we'd be told that it's our civic duty as patriotic Americans to go out and buy that soda!!! Laugh if you want but it's true. I saw commercials for Grey's Anatomy and CSI the other night that spoofed political ads; they were pretty much what I described above.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am sick and tired of all this mud-slinging, backstabbing campaigning and self-serving, polarized politics. It's time the policians stopped thinking about what's best for them and their party and about what's best for the country. I'm a registered Republican, true, and I hold a lot of values that are shared by Republicans, but I don't swear alleigance to the Republican Party! I swear alleigance to THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! And I think it's time the politicians did the same.
